The Wellbeing Department serves the entire Episcopal Homes community, ensuring that residents are given every opportunity to live lives that are rich, fulfilling, and healthy based on the seven identified dimensions of Wellbeing: Intellectual, Emotional, Social, Environmental, Physical, Spiritual, and Vocational.
- SPIRITUAL – Explore beliefs and values that help crate harmony and purpose in life.
- SOCIAL – Relate to and connect with others.
- PHYSICAL – Foster lifestyle habits that improve health and functional ability.
- VOCATIONAL – Share talents and strengthen purpose while helping build our community.
- INTELLECTUAL – Engage in creative pursuits and lifelong learning.
- EMOTIONAL – Grow in self-understanding and ability to cope with change.
- ENVIRONMENTAL – Our indoor and outdoor spaces cultivate wellbeing. They are welcoming and comfortable and offer safety, natural light and fresh, clean air.
Enrichment and wellbeing through social connectedness, physical activity, intellectual pursuits, and the search for meaning are integral in our mission to enrich life and build community with older adults. Episcopal Homes’ Active Living, Creative Ventures and Spiritual Life teams engage community partners, volunteers, and elders in program offerings focused on improving body, mind and spirit.
For current offerings, view our campus calendar, Active Living, Creative Ventures or Spiritual Life pages.
