You are entering into this Waiting List Agreement with Episcopal Homes on University Avenue dba Episcopal Homes of Minnesota (“Episcopal Homes,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”), in order to be placed on the Waiting List for residency at Episcopal Homes. This Agreement does not constitute an application for residency. You will receive an application at a later date.
WAITING LIST PROCEDURES
Upon receipt of your Waiting List Application, We will place You on the Waiting List. Our Waiting List is maintained by the date of execution of a Waiting List Agreement for the particular type of unit in which applicants are interested.
When We reasonably anticipate a unit becoming available in which an applicant has expressed an interest, and in order to promptly gauge who is or is not interested in considering the available unit at this time, We will contact a group of applicants on the Waiting List for that unit type with information on the unit type available, the anticipated date of availability and instructions on how to respond if you are (or if you are not) interested in considering the unit. Of those who expressed interest in the current available unit, the available unit will be offered by date of execution on the waiting list. The default method of contact is by email (if the applicant has provided an email address). We may also reach out by phone or by mail if you’ve indicated and/or We consider that the most appropriate method of contact.
RESPONSE
Your timely response is very important. You should check Your email, telephone messages, and mail regularly. We will attempt contact You at up to (1) email address or two (2) telephone numbers as provided in your Waiting List Agreement. It is Your responsibility to keep Your contact information current; so please inform Us of any changes in your contact preferences as soon as possible.
If We do not hear back from You within forty-eight (48) hours of Our call/email, We may contact the next interested applicant on the Waiting List seeking the type of unit in which You are interested. If You contact Us after forty-eight (48) hours, or if We do not hear from You at all, or if You respond but decline to execute a Unit Reservation Agreement and/or a Residency Agreement, You will retain Your priority on the Waiting List for a total of three(3) calls/emails. If You fail to respond to Our calls/emails three (3) times, You will be assigned to our Non-Active Waiting List. The Non-Active Waiting List simply indicates that You wish to be on our Waiting List but are not actively seeking to move and do not wish to have Us contact You regularly. When You wish to rejoin the Active Waiting List, You will only need to inform Us of that.
NO BINDING AGREEMENT
Execution of this Agreement by Us does not represent a binding agreement to enter into a Unit Reservation Agreement and/or Residency Agreement with You for any unit at Episcopal Homes.
We reserve the right to qualify You for residency according to Our normal residency requirements and processes prior to execution of any further agreements. We make no promises about whether or when any unit at Episcopal Homes may become available for occupancy. When a unit does become available, You will be asked to complete an applications for residency.
RIGHT TO CANCEL
You may cancel this Agreement at any time by notifying us in writing at housing@episcopalhomes.org or by calling 651-632-8858.
