Episcopal Homes Seeks Mission-Centered Nurse Leader to Support Elders Living at Home

Episcopal Homes has been responding to the needs of our times for over 125 years. NeighborCare, Episcopal Homes’ new home care service, launched quietly during the pandemic, is now helping more than 70 older adults to age and live well within their St. Paul homes.

The service builds on our commitment to being a good neighbor as we live our mission of enriching life and building community with older adults. Whether it’s help with a daily warm meal, a social visit to combat isolation or managing more complex health conditions, older adults and families today are looking for dependable, affordable ways to get the support they need in the homes they love.

NeighborCare differs from other home care options because older adults are served by members of a team of caregivers who are available in their neighborhood to provide care and support 24/7 – whether for scheduled services or emergency response. While many home care jobs require considerable driving for caregivers, all NeighborCare clients reside within a 10 minute driving radius of Episcopal Homes’ campus at Fairview and University Avenues in St. Paul.

Our ability to help more of our St. Paul neighbors is presently limited by the shortage of nurses. Most nurses chose their careers out of a passion for helping make people’s lives better. If you know a home care nurse leader who is looking for a personal mission – for meaning and purpose in their interactions with those they serve, please tell them about NeighborCare. We are seeking a nurse leader to join our passionate team of caregivers who are working to transform in-home care for the future.
