Katy’s Cottage Memory Care is an Assisted Living community offering senior care services for individuals who present symptoms of memory loss and dementia.  The foundation of our care philosophy places an emphasis on dignity and independence while enhancing each resident’s quality of life.  For individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s, being cared for in a comforting environment with a structured daily routine reduces agitation and anxiety and improves mood.   Daily meaningful engagement activities are customized to nurture one’s spirit through familiar activities and tasks.  These tasks, once enjoyed in the past, continue to provide a sense of purpose in the present.   These experiences, which might range from walking, food prep, folding, sorting, and gardening, greeting or reading to others, give residents a sense of accomplishment. Our memory and dementia care in St. Paul, MN and the surrounding areas is a valuable part of the senior care services that we offer.
