The official reopening date for our campus parking lot will now be Thursday, July 4th – and given how rapidly our “Big Dig” hole is filling up (this picture was shot at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25th), we have every reason to believe that we can count on this date to be real. We apologize for any inconvenience that this delay may cause you. The good news is that, even with our dramatically reduced parking lot capacity, guests and visitors have usually been able to find a spot. If the lot is full when you stop by, there is often on-street parking on Feronia Avenue (1 short block South of University). You can also park in the Goodwill/Easter Seals lot directly across from our campus on the North side of University. The Goodwill/Easter Seals lot can be accessed from Westbound University or from Fairview Avenue. You will not be towed.
If there’s a silver lining here, it’s that anyone who has ever done a home improvement project and been dismayed at how much longer it took than than originally planned, well, it happens to professional contractors too. Unexpected things always crop up, and it’s always better to do it right than to do it over. Again, thank you for your patience. Soon, we’ll all have a whole new reason to celebrate the Fourth of July!
