Our campus parking lot is back!

THANK YOU, residents, families, and guests, for your patience as our campus parking lot was torn-up for the installation of our huge underground storm water management system. The proof is in the paving – and as you can see, our “Big Dig” is now a real parking lot again! No staff or construction parking is allowed here, so all of the spaces are exclusively for the use of our residents, their families, their guests, and people visiting loved ones in Transitional Care (short-term rehab). Oh, happy day!

NOTE: A second layer of blacktop will be applied in about a week. That will just take a day, and we will give you plenty of warning about which day it will be. The reason that the blacktopping is being done in two stages is because of the high moisture content of the soil. If the full thickness of blacktop had been laid down all at once, the heat of the asphalt would have drawn moisture out of the soil and the result would be premature cracking and crumbling.
